This ergonomic hybrid mouse, pointer and slide application control uses Blue Tooth technology and packs all of the functions into a small space providing a meaningful, clear, coherent design. The shape of the Logitech Cordless Presenter nestles comfortably in the hand and one button allows the operator to toggle back and forth to each function.

More efficient way to manage cardboard, tool storage, cart storage and cart identification in a grocery store setting. Where two carts have been used before-one to carry product, the other to store used cardboard-now, only one is required. The hinged deck decreases platform size 35% for storage. Broken down cardboard cartons and refuse are stowed in an adjustable management system with a convenient area for tool storage. With the smaller width footprint the StockMate ES Restocking Truck can navigate almost any aisle.

金奖【3】PalmTM ZireTM Handheld Computer

Departing from the familiar PalmTM, the ZireTM was given a new shape and color, which would transcend the world market. Thinner and about 20% smaller by volume than a PalmTM m100, the ZireTM is portable and can go as long as a month on single charge of its rechargeable batteries. To save money, the new flip lid is a third of the cost as other PalmTM models. Great design benefits and price point; 90% of sales are first time buyers.

The Zire'sTM appearance conveys a quite, calm, Zen-like aesthetic that is normally reserved for products selling at twice its cost. 金奖【4】PowerBook G4 (12 and 17 inch)

The 17" monitor is the largest display for a notebook and has the same viewing area as a 19-inch CRT monitor with the ability to display two full pages at one time. Still, it's the thinnest notebook Apple has produced. The legends of the full-sized keyboard are backlit by hundreds of fiber optic strands. Slot loading combo DVD/CD drive, G4 processor, built-in Blue Tooth wireless technology, Airport Extreme (802-11g) for networking and a full-sized keyboard round out the features. The notebook is made with aircraft grade aluminum for the outer skins with welded structural members and a die cast aluminum frame.

The SanDisk Cruzer features a USB connector that protracts for insertion of the device into the receptacle and retracts for easy storage, without loose parts needed to protect the connector. Does not require special drivers, batteries or external power. Works with Windows XP, 2000 and ME operating systems and accepts 32 to 256 MB Secure Digital or Multimedia Cards.

银奖【6】Syncmaster 152T/172T

Flat screen technology allows the monitor to have a considerable screen volume with a slim image. The unit can be wall or arm mounted, or placed on traditional desktop. Dual hinge foldable design allows for a smaller footprint on the desktop when not in use. Reduces packaging and transportation costs by 40% over CRT models.

银奖【7】Xserve

The Xserve is Apple's answer to computer muscle in a small space. The server can be arranged in an industry standard 42U rack, in which configuration of the server rack would have 630 GB of processing power and 20 terabytes of internal disk space. Each server has independent drive bays for hot-plug internal storage and hot swapping.

铜奖【8】Gateway PC Computer Family

The Gateway PC Computer Family line has created a completely new product look and brand statement. Design features include a flip-up door for easy service and upgrade access, smooth minimal surfaces expressing high performance and a functional color-high-contrast silver and charcoal. No fasteners are used, making it easy to disassemble and easier interior access encouraging repair, instead of discard. Black and vertical lines mark Gateway's distinct brand in this line.

【9】Compaq TC 1000 Tablet PC by HP: Bronze, Computer Equipment

Compaq created a stand-alone tablet that was also a fully functional notebook. The TC 1000 is a tablet PC that can dock with a keyboard or other electronic device to combine the best of both worlds, without sacrificing the use and flexibility of either. The TC 1000 uses Microsoft Windows XP tablet as its operating system. The tablet can hinge and swivel on its base-docking station-for different uses.

【10】Adaptec xHub: Bronze, Computer Equipment

The Adaptec xHub is an attractive desktop 2.0 USB hub. Available in four or seven port models and is also able to support both Apple and PC. The xHub's cable management system solves the cable tangling problem. The USBControl utility-software for the hub-allows the user to obtain information about the peripherals. The xHub's design allows a picture to be placed on the front of the unit-a nice personalization touch.

【11】Hewlett-Packard Workstation zx6000: Bronze, Computer Equipment

The side panels to the HP Workstation zx6000 were designed to communicate a robust look and a sense of sophisticated power and speed. The side panels are easily removed without tools for unit upgrade. The unit can be used as a single desk side system (with the side panels) or as a multiple unit system in a rack mount configuration. The Workstation zx6000 is an out-of-the-box solution using the same base chassis for multiple configurations and models. By offering two configurations (rack mount and desk side units), a larger market was penetrated.

【12】Logitech® QuickCam for Notebooks Pro: Bronze, Computer Equipment

The QuickCam, a Web cam for notebooks, features an integrated notebook mount that can be folded for easy storage and lens protection. The carrying case serves as both cable management and a storage package. The QuickCam uses a USB connection.

【13】Sun Fire Blade Server Solution: Bronze, Computer Equipment

Sun makes its Sun Fire Blade Server with a smaller footprint to combat a decrease in space availability and is a balance of technical sophistication and sculptural elegance. Each blade's front surface is 1" x 4.5"; one side panel is made of metal and the other, plastic. The plastic side is used as a carrier in the manufacturing process. User installs desired blades by simply sliding blade into slot. Each blade has a motherboard, disk and RAM. Increase ease of service, higher level of uptime, simplified installation, increase compute density of a rack and allows organizations to accommodate growth with a flexible configuration of a data center.
