最近在学习SCTP (stream control transmission protocol ,流控制传输协议)编程,linux 系统从内核版本2.6以后开始支持sctp,但仍热需要安装sctp模块,安装的方式有两种。lksctp是Linux Kernel Stream Control Transmission Protocol的缩写,即linux内核的sctp协议。sctp是一种传输层协议,类似于udp和tcp。sctp 是可靠的面向消息的传输层协议,在端点之间提供多个流,其分为一到一形式的接口和一到多形式的接口,前者类似tcp的一对一的连接,后者类似于udp的一对多的接口。它的实现有4次握手和3次挥手,且没有tcp的time_wait状态。
1 yum 源安装
实验环境:linux内核版本4.18.0-147.el8.x86_64,Linux实现版本centos8,yum 版本4.2.7(yum 命令可用dnf替代)
首先检查并安装kernel-modules-extra.x86_64,这个包的作用个人理解是外围的模块加载到内核中,如果这个包不安装,安装了后面的包内核模块查不到,也就不好用。对redhat、centos等linux 发行版需要安装。如果查询不到,则不需要安装。

从上述结果可以看出,共有5个软件包。centos8的lksctp版本为1.0.18。查到后用yum install 逐个安装或yum install lksctp*批量安装。安装完毕后再用yum list lksctp*查看是否已全部安装。安装完毕后重启电脑,开机后先用modinfo | grep sctp 查看是否有模块。如下结果所示。

从上述结果可以看出,可以查到模块,然后使用lsmod | grep sctp查看是否能查到模块,如果不能查到,则使用modprobe sctp 安装
# modprobe sctp
安装完毕后,再用lsmod 查看是否已安装sctp模块。所示结果如下。
#lsmod | grep sctp

表明lsctp模块已在当前linux下安装完成。或者使用cat 命令。
# cat /proc/modules | grep sctp

安装完毕后,可以用程序测试下,是否会报错Socket type not supported 和随后的segment fault,没有报错,则说明安装成功。另外有可能会出现开机无法自动加载SCTP模块的事,需要在/etc/sysconfig/modules的目录下新建sctp.modules文件,文件内容如下:

保存后,修改权限chmod+777 sctp.modules,重启便可看到已自动加载
2 源码安装
从网址下载http://lksctp.sourceforge.net/ 下载lksctp-tools-1.0.17.tar.gz,下载完毕后解压。解压后目录下有个INSTALL 文本文档,安装步骤原文如下。
1) Download and install the following binary RPMs from the lksctp sourceforge
website at
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=26529

* SCTP header file /usr/include/netinet/sctp.h
* SCTP man pages.
* Source code for sample SCTP applications.
lksctp-tools-x.y.z-doc-1.i386.rpm includes
* SCTP RFC's and internet drafts.
If you want to run and play with the included sample SCTP applications or
develop your own SCTP applications, you can skip the rest of the
instructions.
If you are interested in running the functional regression tests included
in the lksctp-tools package, continue with the following instructions.
2) Download and install the following source RPM form the lksctp sourceforge
website at
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=26529
* lksctp-tools-x.y.z-1.src.rpm
This will install the lksctp-tools gzipped tarball and RPM spec file.
3) Untar the lksctp-tools directory from the gzipped tarball. This creates a
subdirectory called lksctp-tools-x.y.z.
Ensure you have autoconf, automake and libtool packages installed on your
system.
4) Run ./bootstrap
5) Run ./configure
6) Run make
7) To run the SCTP kernel regression tests,
$ cd src/func_tests
$ make v4test (regression tests for the IPv4 socket support)
$ make v6test (regression tests for the IPv6 socket support)
8) Run other SCTP test tools/applications in src/apps directory to verify the
running SCTP.
这个安装步骤没有更新,网址点进入后进入根目录。安装完毕后还有相应的测试程序。
也可以从这个下载各个版本的rpm安装文件包。https://pkgs.org/download/lksctp-tools,里面包含了各个系统的安装文件,里面的安装文件也可用yum安装

3 在sctp一对多的模式中,需要根据IP地址获取关联标识。官方unpv13e/sctp/sctp_addr_to_associd.c文件里给出一个函数,可以根据对方的地址获取当前的关联标识,其源代码如下:

运行后返回的总是0,使用SCTP 套接字选项SCTP_GET_PEER_ADDR_INFO,送入sctp_opt_info函数可以得到正确的关联标识,修改后的函数如下:

4 sctp_get_no_strms的函数实现,用sctp_address_to_associd2获得对端的关联标识,然后用sctp_opt_info在SCTP_STATUS套接字选项上获取向对端发送流的最大数目。
